Who am I?
My passion and love for the process of birth comes alongside my strong belief that each person knows their own body best. I believe that we as a culture should encourage autonomy, self advocacy, and a connection with our body as central parts of how we are cared for. I believe this to be especially true in the process of birth. The intrinsic wisdom that birthing people have about the process of birth and the power and strength that their body holds is an incredible thing to witness. As a doula, I believe my role is to support your connection to your experience and your body, and to help you advocate for your needs and desires in a system that doesn't always encourage that. I love watching new parents blossom, growing the strength that they will need to raise a child, through the power that they are able to find throughout the process of labor and birth.

Everyone deserves to be supported in their birth!
"Only with trust, faith, and support can the woman allow the birth experience to enlighten and empower her. Women’s strongest feelings [in terms of their birthings], positive and negative, focus on the way they were treated by their caregivers."
